Hanan Janiv shihan is a long-time student of the late Sugano shihan, and has been studying aikido for over 40 years. On Sugano sensei's recommendation, Janiv sensei was promoted to 7th dan aikikai, and was appointed shihan by Ueshiba Moriteru Doshu.

Janiv shihan last visited Trowbridge Aikikai in Spring 2013, and has kindly agreed to return to lead our Spring keiko again in 2015, from 14th to 18th April. Times and locations will be confirmed via this website in due course.
